3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Advisory Services

For personalized investment advisory services:

  • If you cancel before your initial consultation or before any personalized advice has been provided, you are eligible for a full refund minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • If you cancel after receiving initial consultation but before a comprehensive investment plan is delivered, you may receive a partial refund of up to 70% of the service fee, depending on the amount of work completed.
  • Once a comprehensive investment plan or personalized strategy has been delivered, no refund will be provided as you have received the full value of the service.

3.2 Subscription Services

For premium subscription-based content and services:

  • If you cancel within 14 days of starting a new subscription, you will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription period.
  • For annual subscriptions, if you cancel after the first 14 days but within the first 30 days, you may receive a partial refund of up to 75% of the subscription fee.
  • No refunds are provided for subscriptions canceled after 30 days from the purchase date.
  • Automatic renewals can be canceled at any time, and no charges will be applied for future billing cycles, but no refund will be issued for the current billing cycle.

3.3 Educational Content and Webinars

For educational webinars, courses, and publications:

  • On-demand webinars and digital publications are eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not downloaded or accessed more than 25% of the content.
  • For live webinars, you may receive a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled event.
  • For cancellations less than 48 hours before a live webinar, you may transfer your registration to another available date or receive a credit for future services.
  • Online courses are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 25% of the course material.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items and situations are not eligible for refunds:

  • Services or products that have been fully delivered or substantially completed
  • Subscription fees after the refund eligibility period has expired
  • Special promotional offers that were explicitly marked as non-refundable
  • Any service where the client has received substantial benefit or value
  • Custom research or analysis that was prepared specifically for the client
  • Transaction fees, administrative charges, or taxes associated with the purchase

5. How to Request a Refund

6. Refund Processing

Once your refund request has been received and approved:

  • Refunds will typically be processed within 7-10 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
  • If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to determine an alternative refund method.
  • Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

7. Cancellation of Services

When a refund is processed, your access to the related services will be canceled as follows:

  • For subscription services, access will continue until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise specified.
  • For one-time purchases of digital content, access will be revoked upon processing of the refund.

CanadaInvest reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may make exceptions to this policy in certain circumstances, including:

  • Technical issues that significantly impacted service delivery
  • Errors in service description or representation
  • Exceptional personal circumstances (medical emergencies, etc.)
  • Service quality issues verified by our quality assurance team

In such cases, please provide relevant documentation or information to support your refund request.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee

For certain premium services, we offer a satisfaction guarantee:

  • Our premium investment advisory packages come with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
  • If you are not satisfied with the quality of advice provided, please contact us within 30 days of service delivery with specific concerns.
  • Our team will work with you to address your concerns and may offer additional consultation, service adjustments, or partial refunds as appropriate.
  • This guarantee applies only to quality of service issues and not to investment performance outcomes, as market fluctuations are beyond our control.

10. Disputes and Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the resolution of your refund request:

  2. Your complaint will be reviewed by a senior manager not previously involved in your case.
  3. We aim to resolve all disputes within 14 business days.
